My dear boyfriend was so kind and generous... he took my bike up to the bike shop to have my new handlebars put on. They were my Christmas present from him. Take a look... they are so beautiful:

That was on Friday. My bike will be ready on Monday.
Then... we found out we are going to have a heat wave this weekend... yep... 80F with barely any wind.
I have been in awe of the amazing weather.... he even says... "we can go ride if you want to... wait! You don't have a bike".
Unfortunately, I didn't realize he was doing that... because had I known... I would have told him not to... since I was going to drop it off to have them work on it while I am out of town next weekend.
Oh well... guess I'll just walk around the mall instead. Maybe shopping will make me feel better.

Well... the price on that site it not what I paid in store.
The LBS had to order them... but they priced at $460 with tax. I also had a 15% coupon that I used.
And, I was only able to get them because of my boyfriends GC and my Dad sending me money for Christmas. It was a total splurge... and I had to walk around the store and talk it out before I did it. I felt good... and bad all at the same time.. for getting them.
They are so pretty... and COMFORTABLE though! I can't wait to ride on them!
Its 30 degrees here and I have a great bike just sitting and collecting dust..oh the life of the midwest cycllist
