    Dear hair,

OK, I know that you don't like the chemo, and are proving it by falling out in clumps and handfuls. But really, must all the dark hairs fall out first, leaving only the grey ones? Is that necessary? I'm already having enough trouble adjusting my self-image. This is not making it any easier.

    Dear beloved puppydog,

I'm too tired to take you for another walk tonight. Please feel free to avail yourself of the back yard. That's why we have it. Really, it's not part of the house and we won't be mad if you relieve yourself there. Really, truly.

Dear Idiot driver of SUV with Indiana plates,
You did not need to stop in the middle of the road to let the bus in. The bus had the yield sign, you had the right of way. By your stopping, and impeeding traffic, you caused a chain reaction fender-bender accident. Unfortunately, the blue Jaguar behind you was stopped just far enough that when all this happened, you were able to drive away totally unscathed, and unaware of the problems you caused. Green turn arrow you drove through meant you had the right-of-way, the bus gets to wait until the light in our direction was red.

Now I get to add going to a body shop to get my bumpers and tail-light repaired to my list of things to do before I move.
Yeah, I hit the Jag, driven by a lawyer no less. But I was the car in the middle. No ticket for me, cause I stopped before hitting the Jag, then was forced into it by red Ford. sigh

Sorry about the accident, Beth. I'm glad you're okay. It is a hassle handling the repairs, though. Wishing you a smooth move.

Mad yes, but not hurt. Or more specifically, I was hurting from my *fun* PT session that I just left - we added more to the routine, than from the accident. My car is pouting, but it did kiss a Jag

Aw Beth, sorry that happened to you.

The only time I was rear-ended, I felt fine immediately afterward, but woke up the next day with pretty bad lower back pain that lasted three or four days (and low back pain is VERY unusual for me). Wouldn't hurt to give your PT a call and see if they want you to come back in, or adjust your home exercises for the time being.

Anyway, sure glad it wasn't worse and hope you can get your car fixed soon. Sounds like it's driveable at least, anyway?

hehehe, since you're headed this way, I will be glad to share my PT with you...I fondly named her "General" Julie not only because it's alliterative, but for her, uh, assertive manner I had been to lots of PTs in/around Seattle before I met her; the BEST.period.end of story. Also, she's not only a RAAM veteran but has had knee issues, surgery, so she had instant credibility with me! She's been a huge help to me, per injuries, coaching to my riding goals and overall improvement since 1999.

Am sorry to hear of the idiot driver causing all of this for you - when you least need it - whew! I hope that you're physically ok and can deal with it and move on...

Your dog and my dog must have gone to the same Finishing School for Polite Dogs. It's annoying sometimes!

That, or they are afraid that relieving themselves in the yard would be making some kind of statement about their landscape architect moms' work!

Dear Chloe -- yes, the neighbors behind us removed the shed that was against the fence. You don't need to announce that it's gone each time you go in the back yard.

Yes, I've seen you mention that elsewhere. I don't talk about work much here, so you might not have known that about me!
