I think this is definitely a YMMV thing, but I haven't had any fit issues with my B68s saddles... I initially bought them because I got a great price on them, or I might have chosen the "regular" versions. When I wanted to try an imperial, I went with the "s" as well.. mostly because the position of my others hadn't been an issue, I just wanted to see if a cutout would make much difference for me (jury is out on that so far.. I don't hate it, but I'm not sure it's helping anything).

I haven't noticed any difference in terms of "control" on the bike due to the shorter saddle... but of course I don't have much to compare it to.
