Yeah, in that post race interview with Tyler, it was clear he was pretty POed. Ironically, they replayed the Hincapie debacle from last year during the broadcast... more HTC Columbia/Garmin drama...

The pace into the finish was crazy. I'm excited when I hit 35 MPH going downhill. lol

What a strange tour this has been this year. Who knows what the remaining days hold!

I agree about the Robbie McEwen thing - I liked him til I saw him do that same thing. I also liked Renshaw, but now not so much. And now, this pic, where he and Bernard Eisel are looking right at me, means a lot less to me.

Can't make any bets on the drama in between but I know one guy who's gonna be on the podium. i saw that in him last year.

Also, stage 17 sounds like a great one to watch in it's entirety.

Just finished watching....Renshaw's head butt was painfully obvious, but slowing it down, it does really look like Julian Dean "started it" by throwing an elbow at Renshaw ...., but Renshaw then nearly pushing Tyler into the barriers was pretty inexcusable.

It seems like Renshaw's actions should have more consequences. He could have seriously injured somebody - perhaps ended a cycling career. Obviously Cavendish won, in part, due to Renshaw's actions. I think Cavendish's win should be stripped - just as if he had been doping. After all, he did not win "fair & square."

Well, we'll see what taking away one of Cavendish's main lead out guys will do to him... it should be interesting.

The hill at the end today was incredible.
I kept expecting to see someone finally run out of steam and start walking.

What's the conversation like in the Astana camp?

VINO: (in Russian) Glad you got 10 seconds 'Berto, but if you'd have helped me win the stage we'd be sharing 8k Euro right now.

CONTADOR: (in Spanish) Yay me! Viva Espana!

Very cool - and what a HILL they had to climb

I don't have Versa, but am on the final day of house-cat sitting for a friend. They have it. I think the cat needs more company, yeah, that's it! The cat needs more company because he is lonely and stuff - so will head back this evening to see the prime-time coverage. They even said I can sleep there if I want (I do not want) so I know they won't mind.

It is good we live in the same apartment complex...

Can't let the cat get lonely

Happy to see Vino get his stage win today, after Alberto ruined it for him yesterday. I understand that AC needed to gain time on Andy, but it was still rude. Obviously there were no hard feelings, tho; that was a very heart-felt lovefest between the two after the stage today. Nice to see.
