Finally got out for a run today after three days of no real exercise (insanely busy) and boy did it feel good to get out on the trails! I'm trying to figure out why I can only seem to manage 11-12 minutes per mile though--it's not like these trails have super steep hills, more rolling. Maybe it has to do with all the twists and turns, and all the dodging of rocks and roots. The good thing was that I checked my heart rate at one point when I felt like I was working pretty hard and it was only 180 (this is really not bad, for me!).
