    Oh, man...
Can you imagine the Tour de France becoming another Super Bowl of commercials?? Folks tune in to watch (and chat about) the commercials!
And, oh yeah...to watch the sport, too.

I, too, love the Radio Shack commercials, pretty much all of them are hilarious! I also like the Lance/Leaf commercial... more for the fact that I'm excited about that car coming out, but it was a pretty ingenious spin on it as well!

I'm gone to training this week and they don't have Versus on the hotel tv....DARN IT!
+1 on this...so inspirational...makes me think of all the cancer survivors I know who have refused to let their diagnosis ruin their lives.

Awwww, I just watched a rerun of the podium moment where Mark Cavendish cries...those eyelashes!!

Another "what commercials, I use the DVR" person here. Take 3 hours of coverage and shorten it by 40%. Amazing.

I like the RadioShack ones. I think it's because I totally agree with the little rules he has.

I'm waiting for them to make one about talking on the phone while in a public restroom. Really, where is it??

Road ID when Bob Roll is on a roll...

    ...helmet, bazooka, road ID...
...I even wear it to bed in case an irate motorist follows me home...
I wasn't all that fond of the Radio Shack commercials until the "use our inside voices".

What I want to know is, who the hell is Evan Longoria????

BTW I know the first Radio Shack commercial (no emoticons) was directed by Chris Guest (Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, "This one goes to eleven"). Not sure about the others. I like the raising babies and throwing soft cheeses one.

    - Gray 2010 carbon WSD road bike, Rivet Independence saddle
    - Red hardtail 26" aluminum mountain bike, Bontrager Evoke WSD saddle
    - Royal blue 2018 aluminum gravel bike, Rivet Pearl saddle

    Gone but not forgotten:
    - Silver 2003 aluminum road bike
    - Two awesome worn out Juliana saddles

Oh, I totally forgot they were directed by Christopher Guest! Maybe that's why Alphonse sounds like Fred Willard in the one where he's on Lance's bike.

Evan Longoria is a baseball player for the Tampa Bay Rays. I had to look it up a week or so ago. I thought they were calling him Eva Longoria. Doh.

People actually heckle him by calling him Eva Longoria when he's playing!

The Specialized commercial with Contador and Schleck "trash talking" is hands down the best. The Lance / Radio Shack commercials are mildly amusing but seeing two of this year's top cyclists having a little fun with each other is priceless.
