MTB Rides on Central Coast

Hi there! I am a transplanted California girl who gets back there a couple of times a year. (My brother lives in Visalia in the Central Valley). My neice is graduating in June and I will be coming out for her graduation and then heading over to Morro Bay with my BF for a little R&R. We would like to do some riding wile we are out there. Any suggestions about where to ride and where to rent bikes? If anyone will be in the area and would like to join us on any trails in early June, that would be great too!

Back in the days before suspension, I had a nice ride and a spectacular crash out at Montana de Oro State Park in Los Osos (next door to Morro Bay). I don't know if they allow bikes anymore, but it's worth checking. I only biked out there a couple of times but hiked out there quite a bit. Chaparral and creekside trails, if I remember correctly.
