I'd really love to do this again.

I biked and swam all last fall and I was in fantastic shape for it. Then winter came and I was just swimming-- I fell in love with swimming and didn't get back on my bike.

However! I gained about 8 lbs in that time... went from 148 to 156 time to get back on the bike! I get so frustrated with myself-- I can be in the midst of amazing training and being in wonderful shape and then slowly fall off the bandwagon. I'm working hard and have been for the last few weeks... lifting weights every three days and then walking at least 1-2 hours per day 5 days a week or so.

Tomorrow, I will get back on the bike for the first time this year. I've been leg pressing 160 lbs + body weight though so hopefully I haven't lost any leg strength!

I guess last fall I probably just burned myself out swimming 45 minutes every morning and then biking 50-100 miles a week on top of a demanding job and other school activities. Le sigh. Back to work!

Starting weight 156. Goal weight 150.

I'm back Almost 5 weeks of travel this summer made it challenging to stay on track, even though I have ridden over 400 miles and done a lot of walking while traveling. I am back up to 115.6 and would like to get back to 111 or less by the end of the challenge.

Thanks for being here- and I hope everyone does well through the next couple of months.

I got off track the last time I signed up for this--yikes, back in Sept/Oct--but I'm glad to see that I'm down from 164 back then).

Hoping to do better now . . . starting at 156.2, aiming for 150.

    thx!

Oh snap! Please add me too! Didn't see this one start up, as I got distracted by another project.

On the day the challenge started (the 9th) I was at 274. My goal is 260 by the end of the challenge - that's just a hair over 1.5 pounds a week.
