    I also don't remember wearing a helmet riding mine ... we used to take them down dirt hills and skid out at the bottom. You couldn't keep your feet on the pedals they were going so fast. We'd ride them far past the time we were too big to do so, and even instead of riding a real bike. I had 3 siblings and a neighborhood full of kids, so there was no shortage of big wheels (and parents yelling that you're going to hurt yourself on that thing!).

    I just missed being in the age group for those. And I never had a Schwinn Stingray either.

    I had a Big Wheel and a Schwinn Pixie. My son rides them now.

    They are really cool looking bikes! The original seat and streamers have been replaced on mine, but it still looks pretty awesome.
