Maidei in Virginia
Maidei did not get to participate in Bike Virginia as planned, but she did get to go to the Chesapeake Bay and take a very hot tour of Richmond.
Since I have no idea how to post images inline, I'll just do separate posts.

Maidei takes a tour of Richmond, Virginia
Taking a rest in the shade next to the new part of the Virginia Capital Trail between Richmond and Williamsburg.
Overlooking the James River. That was quite a climb up that hill on a hot day!
Who knew? The Statue of Liberty is in Virginia?
A rest in the shade with a view of the former cigarette factories (now neat loft condos and apartments) and the city skyline. It was a very hot and hazy day.
A visit to Richmond would not be complete without a Civil War monument.
