yep... mine are exactly like that! the leonardos!

we have a friend that hangs his bike in the rafters in his garage... unfortunately.. ours is finished.. so no visible rafters! has good and bad points! lol!

another issue with the rafters woulda been me getting my bike(s) down.... we actually test the height of the holders several times to make sure i could get down and put up my own bike!

we originally had the mountain bikes upside down hanging from the ceiling.. and they were wicked to get down (i only did it once cuz he was at work and i REALLY wanted to go moutain bike riding!)

until we got the hooks.. we had the performance (actually supergo brand) hang 2..... my dolce was always on the bottom! once i got my ruby i just used a portable little stand that sat on the floor and the rear thingies hooked on it.. trouble was.. too many bike took up too much floor space! (hubbies other road bike and tri cross were leaning on the smith machine!) that's why i started asking about better ways that used less space! too many bikes! ACK! (no.. i didn't say that.. one can NEVER have too many bikes!)

some people even suggested hanging them from the ceiling by one tire.. with the ceiling hooks.. but this shortie wouldn't have been able to get her bike down and it woulda sat on the floor anyways!

ultimately i'm really happy with the way both the bike storage and workout wall turned out! and i have even MORE room for my kickboxing and hi/lo workouts! (well... and for weight workouts.. but don't need a lot of room for that!
