I did a brick this morning. It's actually not very hot here. It was only about 70 when I ran. It's very windy and that made the ride portion interesting.

Now the thermometer says it's 80 degrees but we've got our usual delta winds keeping it cool. It's a steady 18 - 20 mph wind today. Nice, I don't have to turn on the air conditioner!

Tomorrow I've got a 90 minute run on the books. I hope it's as cool.

Well, I haven't run at all the past two days--it's just too darn hot here!! Mid to upper 90s and humid. And it's 93 degrees in the house (no air conditioning). Yuck. Tomorrow I will be out of town for a job interview (which is Thursday morning but I'm not driving 4.5 hours each way in one day!) and will try to find a park or something in the area to run in if it isn't too hot (it might be though; it's directly west of where I am). I don't think I could ever live in the south...I wouldn't be able to handle that much heat! I'd rather deal with snowy winters.

I ran this morning because I was too lazy to ride. It turned into more of a run-walk, but i still got a good work out. It was cooler (72) at 6:30 this morning than it was yesterday, when i rode at 5 AM and it was 79. But, it's more humid and the fleas/mosquitos are out. I did a little over 3 miles. I am sick of this heat. Now I remember why I did indoor activity at the gym when I lived in AZ.
    Jolt, where are you interviewing???

H.O.T. again....8.5 miles last night. Starting to wonder why I picked such a hot ironman. Louisville is known for being hot and hilly, and I figured, hey, I live in Atlanta, I'm used to Hot and hilly...in fact, that's all I have to train in. yuck.

Feeling recovered from running in the sauna last night, which is good, since I have a ride today in it Sorry, I know we are all suffering in the heat, I just had to voice a complaint out there in the universe!
Slow and steady (like a train!)

I did an amazing 3 miles along the beach of Lake Michigan last night. The waves were breaking shore under my feet. The air had just started to cool and the water temperature was so warm and inviting. Watched the sunset as I ran and then went for a refreshing swim to cool down.

    Best. Run. Ever.
