Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
Thanks probably to those wonderful vibes you were sending, I felt very confident and quite comfortable during both interviews yesterday! You girls are great - first you prove the power to heal, now you're working on the power to hire!! What can't you do??
Not only did I interview for the 2 jobs, but I had a conversation with another manager about a job that is posted in his department - a job that won't really require the accounting training that the posting indicated, and it sounds like another good one! The closing date on that one is today, and I've sent my application in for it!
I had a very enjoyable time at the office, met some wonderful people, and again think it's amazing that everyone in such a big and busy office can be so content and happy - there really aren't any sadsacks moping around - and I can usually see them from a long way away!!
Now I just wait. <smile> Well, and continue to work at my current job - which reminds me, I'd better go get some work done!
Hugs and thanks to everyone!
(and what does awhi awhi mean?)
Namaste,
~T~
Hey there LB!
Super to hear everything left you feeling so positively... here's to you hearing about the best possible outcome from the day...
awhi awhi... hmmm, hard to give a direct translation...
to "awhi" (pronounced ar-fee) someone is to give them a hug, usually a loving hug
to offer, give or speak of "awhi awhi" is to speak of support and love usually delivered in a hug
So... in short, I could have signed "hugs" but awhi-awhi encompasses a tad more (It's Maori... the language spoken here before English-speaking settlers arrived approx 200 years ago).
