The Ridges 5K Invitational Swim Report

Nope, no wetsuit. The lake was actually beautiful and the water felt great...it just went on for a while!

I was talking to my grandmother, and telling her about the swim. I told her that if you wanted help or rest that they would stop a canoe for you if you needed it, but that there was no WAY i was stopping for it unless I had to quit the race. My grandmother told me that it reminder her of me stubbornly trying to swim across the pool at age 4 in swimming lessons and refusing to stop. Yes, her word was stubborn.
