I just checked her twitter feed. There's a photo of her running and she's wearing the Team Estrogen "She Loves Hills" jersey designed by Urlea. That is so cool.![]()
I thought that was great too! I also love her "monkey shoes"![]()
Go Colby! Her last run split got faster by 2 min/mi.! She's such a rock.

Saw Colby finish, it was awesome!!!![]()
Such an honor to have you ladies training/racing in something I designed. Really humbling.
Did a 70.3 in the Yellow Jersey 2wks ago, worked great. http://minnefotamoments.com/cgi-bin/...24&sortfiles=1

Yeah colby!!!!!!!
Thank you ladies!! As I mentioned in the running forum a second ago, it was too warm for me after not having a lot of warm days - we had a long spring of many 60 degree days, few 70 degree days, and maybe one or two 80 degree days which were too late in my training to train distance in. I think a HIM would have been survivable at this temperature, but a full was too hard on me.
Based on my heart rate and comparing last year to this year, I easily could have cut off another 45-60+ minutes off of EACH of my bike and run times had it not been for all the taking it easy I did on the bike and walking I did on the run. I just wanted to persevere, and not be one of those people that looked like walking death, or was curled up from dehydration, or barfing in the grass, or had to have IV fluids.
I had at least a couple of compliments on the jersey, which I rode in and ran the second loop of the run in (after the shade settled in - I had to take it off on the first loop and carry it). Obviously I finished in it.It was light colored, fits well, I can reach the pockets, and it didn't chafe at all. Three thumbs up.
And, I was told I was the 4th "barefoot" finisher.
I will put up more of a report later. Time for eating... sleeping... aloe on my sunburn... or something. I'm not really sure which.![]()
Colby--seriously, you rock!!! Heat is a killer! You did an AMAZING JOB! I love love love reading about it!
