    Blackhand Gorge. It's only a little over four miles, so you wouldn't have any occasion to use it unless you were specifically visiting this area. Very scenic and the history is fascinating, but come on foot if you come.

    Well I'm still grumpy about this. So one stretch they chip sealed got it's final sweeping and they painted on the lines, so it's considered done. It's ATROCIOUS. They should really wait for warmer weather so the gravel actually sticks to the tar. The gravel didn't adhere well at all and the surface is a bumpy washboardy mess. Plus whatever they swept it with must've been missing lots of bristles because there is still loose gravel all over. I'm not gonna ride on it for another week or so.

    The other road they chipped a few days ago won't be rideable probably for weeks because it hardly gets any car traffic. I drove my car on it last night and had to keep it under 15 mph because of loose deep gravel that was flying all over the place. Sigh.
