Red, I would have seriously bought you any shoes you wanted, because shoes are the *only* thing I bought in Spain! However, I was disappointed in that most of the shoes I saw were cheap and ugly and it was not like Italy. Until I got to Malaga... OMG to be able to go in and say "size 36" without the people laughing at you. I found a chain with cool shoes that I can order online, no stores in the US.
And, besides, I would have given you free counseling.
Veronica, I am wearing a pair of shoes today that look just like the black ones you had pictured first, except less of a heel. I got them at EMS, not usually a place to get shoes I could wear to work.
There is a very expensive shoe store in Concord center, with all of the brands listed above. They have an upstairs room, where the shoes are all like 30-80% discounted. I bought a pair of 350.00 shoes for 95.00. However, I did go to Nordstroms to get shoes for Scott's wedding; I wanted classic dressy sandals or slingbacks without a 5 inch heel, but with more than the old lady type heel. In my size, it's next to impossible. But, I ended up with some nice slingbacks with a 2.5 inch heel that I can wear again.

I have three pair of Keen Sedona clogs, three pair of Keen Calistoga mary janes and I'm now saving my pennies for my second (and third!) pair of Sanita flexible clogs.
My absolutely favorite pair of black sandals (with a small heel and super comfy), I bought 9 years ago. I remember them being expensive but not totally out of my range. They still look brand new and I swear that I wear them almost daily in the summer (for NINE years!). I just went to see if I could find another simliar style or another color and discovered that they are $180!!!
WTF?? I certainly didn't pay THAT much for them! Ugh.
