thanks! I've seen them online for 154-190$ (the shorts). I'd rather toss my money at the LBS, and I will have to make a stop on my way home from work.

They are one of the 2 places that carries Assos - I think in all of New England?
Unfortunately, I am trainer bound all weekend. I am on call for work, and tethered to my laptop. I suppose the friction of a trainer will be a good test for the suckers!
