Sunday, June 13 rides

DH is out of town on a beer'n'baseball trip with his friend, so no long rides for me. But I biked with my 4 year old on the xtracycle, and my newly 7 year old on his new adorable 20" cross bike down to the Milk Carton Boat Races. We ended up doing about 9 miles all told, and he did great - no complaints other than that his hands were a little tingly (it's his first bike with handbrakes and he had a death grip on the handlebars, so no surprise there) and that his bottom hurt a bit. So we stopped by the LBS on the way home and they adjusted his saddle a bit which seems to have helped. I'm so proud of him! He'll be attending bike camp next week, and I think he's going to have a blast.
