I have a seat bag and Axiom Magellen rack/trunk bag. In the seat bag I keep tools and patch kit and attach my keys to the key lanyard inside the bag. In my trunk bag (I'm a 3 day a week commuter-- 15 miles one way) I keep sunblock, granola bars, lunch, and sometimes a book to read on my lunch break. Side pockets usually contain, spare cash (emergency use), wallet, and maps.

Nothing too unusual but, I just started commuting

The only unusual thing is the remote control to the garage door opener.

I have an Altura Fusion day pack on my Bob Jackson and in it are,

    2 spare inner tubes
    Park glueless patches
    tacx tyre levers
    Topeak Mini9 multi tool
    Park mini-chain brute chain tool
    I pair of surgical gloves
    SKS mini-pump
1 dustbin liner ( for putting on the ground under bars and seat if I need to turn the bike upside down to fix p*ncture while on a ride).
    Hi-viz cycling waterproof jacket
    a few wet-wipes in a poly-bag for hand cleaning

My iphone would also be in the bag while I'm out on a ride but obviously doesn't live there all the time.

In the bag on the top tube: pocket pack of tissues, cell phone (in plastic bag, in case of rain), inhaler, maybe some gu, yellow lenses for sunglasses if sunset is possible during ride.

In seat wedge: stuff to repair flat tire, mini-tool, band-aids in various sizes, teeny bottle of hand sanitizer, keys, jimi wallet with ID etc., and a tampon.

I have the larger-sized Topeak wedge bags, the one that's expandable, since I'm one of those people who feels the need to carry everything but the kitchen sink with them. In it, I have:

    -2 spare tubes
    -a tampon
    -CO2 inflator plus two cartridges
-A power gel, in case I run out or forget my Clif blocks.
-Alien XS multitool with chain tool
    -tire levers
-tiny notebook (the pencil has disappeared)
    -a few doses of benadryl
    -a couple bandaids.

I really want a tiny comprehensive first aid kit, or at least condiment-type packages of antiseptic ointment and the like. Any suggestions?
At least I don't leave slime trails.

    Owlie,
I think you must have been looking in my bag when you wrote this list! I also have a couple bucks and a small tube of sunscreen.
