we finally got our ac fixed afterr 10 days of feels like temps in the high 90- to triple digits. It was so hot that we have interesting wax sculptures crawling across our mantlepiece from the candles that used to stand 14 " high and straight. It is such a relief to have it back- not up to ful strength but at least the inside temp is down in the 80's. So glad we are leaving for CA to see our son and his finacee get their Ph.d's and then get married tomorrow- at least 10 days out of the heat.
