... I've been busy, job-hunting, avoiding full-blown depression, doing nothing you could call "training" and generally making a fool of myself. I also moved. Within town only. And I did get a new job.
I also finally sucked it up and joined the gym.
Did I mention I rode 220k one beautiful fall day? I missed a wedding in exchange.
somewhere along the way I picked up a second road bike... meet Amanda (named for the almond blossoms in the pic).

She is. A really good deal too. I would recomment her to anyone, but I don't think Cube is sold in the states. It's the Axial aluminum model with Ultegra SL.
and oh: lots of what I posted above as "I" still involves "we". I didn't go single - that would be the last thing that came to my mind even when I'm depressed.

Congrats on the new job! I hope things start to settle into a pleasant routine for you.

Hey - welcome back, we all missed you!
Glad that everything worked out after all, and congratulations on the new job and new house!
So what bike is Amanda? First time I see one like that... and want to know more!
And, I have to admit that I like your avatar: that tiger-rabbit is my favorite picture around this forum - it just makes me happy every time I see it...
