Very true, having some kind of platform is a good idea. So I did opt for the Candy SI vs. the Eggbeaters alone. I got them in pink and I have yet to install them...perhaps I will do that this weekend and give them a test run on my local trail. Yup, I feel the need to ride comin' on!
