I'm going to agree to disagree w/you guys about the Sidi's. I have a couple pairs of the rose colored mountain shoes and I love them. They are the most expensive shoes I've ever purchased (Manolo who?---haha), but they were worth it. I used to wear Shimanos but didn't care for them.

Dogmama, I've had "bike shop boys" treat me the same way. I'm female & over forty so say no more. In September or October, I practically begged one to preorder me a Specialized Ruby Pro but he claimed it was impossible. Interestingly enough, someone else who frequents this forum went to the same store (different location) and was able to preorder the same bike before I tried to do so. I ended up getting my Luna, so not only did the store lose out on a $4K+ sale, I saved a couple thousand bucks and got a bike I love.

Unfortunately, I have my husband take my bikes in for servicing, even though I have to tell him what to say. sheeesh.
