hmmm, all of these posts got me to thinking...a husband...that's the part I forgot, next time I'm going to plan ahead and get myself one of them so he can watch the kids while I rideMaybe that's another reason why I feel so strongly about making the time for yourself to go out and ride sans child. Being a single mom I definitely have found that you can lose yourself in motherhood (trying to do everything all the time) and forget who you are as an individual. I guess I think too that if you love riding you'll find a way to continue even once you become a mom, whether that means pulling a trailer or getting a sitter. I'm glad you're planning ahead though...the more you've thought it all through the easier the transition will be. Learning from other's experiences, hearing advice, and then making my own decision according to what I want from my life is something that has helped me to learn a lot about how to be the best mom/person I can be.
