I think with a little nylon, velcro, and reflective tape you could make your own

Hello Team Estrogen-ers – I am the guy that actually created the BikeWrappers and just saw you discussing them. I am glad that you heard about them and some of you like them, but just wanted to clarify a few things too. First off, I know there are really only two designs right now(which are “ugly”…) but the main purpose of the BikeWrappers is function before fashion. To be clear they are two sided and reversible, so one side is the reflective side and the other is the designs that you see. So during the day, if you don’t want to have the design showing, you can just leave the reflective side showing or just take them off(less than 10 seconds) and then put them back on next time you bike early in the AM or at night. That is one of the main reasons that I made them removable, since I didn't want to have a permanent tape or paint messing up my bike frame. So I am in the early stages of getting this off the ground, which is why there isn’t much selection, but plan on producing plenty more designs in the near future and will probably have a few contests for people to recommend/vote on the designs they want to see, so would love your input in the future to make a better product. I know they are a bit pricey but you would be real surprised at how expensive that darn reflective fabric costs by itself…
Sorry for butting in but I just wanted to clarify a few things that may not have been too apparent from the website. These are a new product so I am always trying to listen to customers on how to improve and innovate down the line. Also, if you want to read a little bit about me, there is a nice quick little article in the Washington Post from this weekend’s paper. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...052103342.html

Looks kinda like the sleeves I made to protect my carbon frame from my Yakima rack.

    Neat concept.

Two things. First, out of curiosity would you be more likely to buy them if the one side was a solid color(ie white or pink) instead of a design?

Second, if anyone lives close to the Bay area, I am giving away a bunch of them through a Scavenger hunt next Tuesday(June 15th). If you are interested, then the details are here... http://bikewrappers.tumblr.com/post/...nd-free-schwag

Yes, I would like a solid color -- though not pink. BTW I do like the polka dots.
