I hear ya. All the nice weather seems to have shown up when I was in Cleveland...200+ miles away from my bike. Now that I'm home, it's cold and rainy, and the minivan died. Off to the bike shop with me so that I can pick up a rack.

So change your attitude....
to one of I'm going out to have a nice bike ride. No falls, no wind, no broken bike parts and then ride like there's no tomorrow.
No excuses. Life is a mindset and sometimes things do set us back but we've got to get back in the saddle and remember why we're there in the first place.

I'm going to be back in the saddle again tonight.
My LBS guy says I do need a new rear wheel, but he got it straight enough that it will roll and it's safe to ride.
Now - how to choose a wheel? I think I'll post that question in gear & accessories.
