    This is easy!

I have a brand new Specialized Myka FSR Comp Full Suspension Mountain Bike
    and a
brand new Specialized Dolce Comp Road Bike.

Mountain Bike's name is "Myka" - means "Beautiful Girl"
    and
Road Bike's name is "Dolce" - means "Gentle and Sweet"

Those are their names and they are both so awesome and gorgeous!!

I haven't named my new purple Luna yet but one of my riding buddies refers to her as "Barney". I think he's just trying to get under my skin.

My road bike's name is Zippy Beckenheim.

On my first ride after riding exclusively mountain bike for probably 15 years was, "Wow, it's zippy!"

The last name... no idea where that came from. Someone had asked months ago if I named my bike and Zippy Beckenheim is what came out of my mouth.

Have been cycling regularily for many years but never named any of my bikes until..now. For new 4th bike, Dahon folding bike, I've been calling it 'Baby Day', because it's light, small and sweet.

Also I needed to give mine a name since he has a Dahon also, but a different model, colour, etc.

I've never had much luck coming up with bike names - although I've tried. I have enough trouble naming pets.

When I talk to my road bike in my head...... what? Doesn't everyone do that? I think of her (to her?) as Bikey-Poo. She hates that. I can't help it - it just slips out. Then I apologize (still in my head). I need to come up with something better.

My mountain bike, well, I'm considering Crusher, or Killer, or maybe Charlie (Manson). He broke my ankle last summer, and last week he dumped me off on a pile of big, sharp mine rock. Bruises and scrapes, including on my ankle bone, right on top of the metal plate, plus a nice cut across my wrist that makes me realize that it IS trying to kill me, and trying to make it look like suicide.

The touring bike..... I got nuthin'

I had a parakeet named BeBe but I pronounced it BB, he was a birthday gift so BB= birthday bird. Your post made me think of my pretty little buddy.

She deserve a way better name than Barney! I can't think of a fitting name but that bike is no Barney.

I named my husband's bikes for him:

The Cannondale (his roadie). I also have a Cannondale but since his took the name I call mine Miranda.

The Stumpy or just Stumpy. His Specialized Stumpjumper FSR.

Jake or The Kona. His Kona Jake Cyclocross bike.

When talking about my bikes to people I call them "my Cannondale", "the Fisher" or "my hardtail". Like they will just follow along with that.

    Ole Clemmy...

I've only named my fixed gear Peugeot mixte. She's Clementine. My sassy, purple little beaut. I have yet to find names for my roadie and mtn bike.

My road bike seems all business to me and my mtn bike and I need to see a relationship counselor since we don't get along as well.

    Yep.

My 520's name is "Buckley". It helps that all over the bike are "B's" from bontrager accents. I knew it had to have a B-name.
