    Kayaking on Memorial weekend?

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Zen and I are planning to go kayaking the last weekend in May, probably on Sunday, May 30, probably somewhere in the Monocacy area (or somewhere between Montgomery County and Frederick.)

Does anyone want to join us?

ooooohhhhh it's tempting but I'll be passing thru that area on Wed or Thurs. Had a wonderful time riding with Zen on a previous trip but I don't think I can do that again this time.

awww, come on. Please? I can understand not being able to paddle but I could meet you in Hancock and we could do the other end of the trail. The really pretty part.

    c'mon!

hmmm it's tempting. Only problem is I still have 10 hours of driving from Hancock... And much as I like the tranquility of going west on Rt 68, it adds about an hour to the trip. So 70 to Breezewood is the preferred route this time. If I am sure I'll be able to have my bike inside the car, and can crash in Bethesda the night before, or Detroit that night it might work.
