I like it too. All of them are great but loopybunny's made me stop and really study it. It's very simple but classy.

Maybe it's coincidence, or some thought, that the regular cyclists and regular TE members (so far), have submitted designs that provide cyclist visibility while riding.
'Course we do not yet know loopy's cycling habits.

I was having a similar thought, sideways....
that the "Fall" jerseys would be great to wear in any season except fall. And the "Southwest" jersey would be nice in the Northeast.
Other than that... even the bright colors in the Spring jersey IMO don't overcome the predominant colors that are the same colors as road, sky and hillsides.
Maybe I'm too much of a grouch in my old age.I love a lot of these designs, as with the last round, but I wouldn't consider for a minute wearing them on the bike, unless on an organized ride that was so big that any motorists would be aware of it and there was no chance I'd be in a group smaller than five... and I rarely participate in those.
More yellow please!

Some alternative color schemes.
For the sake of space, I'm only uploading the backs (and it looks like you'll have to click a link to see the purple one).
As for my riding habits... I ride road, somtimes in traffic, and I ride solo. I'm a very defensive rider and honestly don't worry too much about being high visibillity. I know some people do, but high vis yellow is just not my style. I think Ted King has rubbed off on me too much.
Hmmm---well, Loopy's riding habits don't matter to me because I love her/his design.
Loopy, just to clarify, I love bright colors which is why I suggested something bright. Also contrasting colors---like turquoise blue or lime green with black. Doesn't have to be hi-viz yellow or anything like that. I like the purple version but then again, I like purple. You've come up with a design that is classy and if TE makes this one, I'll likely purchase it if it comes in a color that I like (despite the fact that I already purchased a jersey this year and have no room for more).
Regardless of design/style, I would not wear the colour shade combinations for loopy's latest red and blue combinations near my face for spring/summer.
Even with sunblock, I do tan ..so with a yellow-olive based skin complexion & black hair, those particular colours do not compliment my complexion.
I like wearing lighter /brighter/stronger/jewel-toned contrasting colour blocks on my upper body, when cycling. It's just me.. I don't mind high visibility. My partner rides ahead alot of me, and I can see which colours are not visible from afar. It makes a huge difference...when he's trying to see me behind..looking back or in his bike mirror.
I like loopy's designs --not the darker/duskier colour combinations.

If anyone knows how I can make my pictures larger, that would be great. I tried resizing them and that did not help much. Unfortunately the picture does not let you see some of the detail.
Let me know if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks,

Since my photos appear abnormally large compared to everyone elses, you might try what I did... I upload first to Photobucket and then use their IMG to post. I don't know how everyone does the thumbnails (I am computer illiterate!!).
It's interesting in reading some other posts, that the trend for cyclists is to now get away from pretty jerseys and move into the bright color block visability jerseys. I think it would be funny for someone to submit one that is bright yellow or neon green that just says in bold letters "HEY! NOTICE ME! and don't hit me..."
Maybe 'cause I no longer race, or ride in packs, I like jerseys with pretty and unique designs, something that is different. For instance, I like the Art Jersey designs. I love that manufacturers are now starting to do Asian inspired designs. I do alot of art with washi papers and love its patterns and colors. Also I tend to mountain bike more than road so like colors that are more sedate, natural like blues and browns...

It's always good to have a range of different design styles and colour combinations. As long as the design itself is well executed and complements a wide range of body shapes and heights. I think it's great to have the occasional innovative design motif. Any vendor wouldn't want an overabundance since their objective is to move inventory, make sales.
Just straight solid colour blocks can get boring but admittedly I haven't yet paid over $60.00CAN for a jersey. Alot of my jerseys I've paid $25.00-$50.00CAN. Also I don't buy online from firms outside Canada..so I limit myself on choices. It's ok. I do shop in the U.S....in person.
So the designs people have submitted so far, is a wide range of choice..for judging I guess. It might get complicated..

When I imagined what I would want on my cycling jersey I thought about why I cycle, the recurring theme is the closeness to nature and enjoyment of nature. This is just one of the reasons that I ride. This is what I tried depicting in my pastel painting. The TE logo is supposed to be in the bar ends of the bike but I am sure that can photoshop-ed in there better. I hope you like my painting, Thanks for this opportunity

Jeepers, all these choices.![]()
The handlebars nsandz...looks metaphoric: abit like a tree branch..the bike a natural fit for the road heading out to the mountains.
Very cool, to use pastel for design. Original too!

I like the orange racing stripes one. and LSANDZ's nature jersey. It reminds me of the Ramrod jerseys I see so much of here in Seattle (without the giant mountain that is)
