That is exactly how I feel. No one else wants to carry all the crap (band aids, advil, extra tissue, sunscreen, even a little air horn for dog deterrent!), but they sure are glad I have them when they need them!

Oh, yeah. Zip ties. Antiseptic (two bottles of cytomax will NOT rinse out a wound). Leatherman--used on the very first day in the pack (he said I didn't need it--I had a bicycle multitool). A route MAP. And he can't get it all back in there--just hands it back to me and walks off.
On the drive out: "got some ibuprofen?"
I'm celiac, so I made gluten-free banana-nut muffins for my pre/rest stop/post snacks. Two guys at the first stop were eyeing my muffin. I had to take off before they started rifling through my handlebar bag!
