165.6 --told you my weight was totally unpredictable these days So strange....alas, hopefully that number doesn't mess up my race number tomorrow!

157.2. Apparently my body thinks that I'm in a weight gain challenge. It's funny because this week my pants are feeling looser.

Congrats!! It's always an extra bonus to pass one of those big milestone numbers!

Hi everybody. I am on a mission to lose weight this summer. Perimenopausal hot flashes and extra weight are not what I consider a good time, and though I've let myself drift so far from where I was, cycling-wise, I'm taking control, and starting NOW to get back somewhere in the vicinity of where I use to be. I'm determined.

I have a goal to ride Mon, Wed, and Fridays, indefinitely. It is a goal I've put off for about 5 years now, but this is IT. (I also hike with dog a lot, and do a lot of physical work in the garden). I have been just doing some trails around my cabin, but plan on taking to the pavement and getting in some time soon, gradually. I am 178 now, and goal to be at least 149 next Autumnal Equinox (Sept 22).
