    a very good story to remind us to always bring a hand pump on rides. I'm glad it worked out, but that must have been a frustrating ride!

    I did have a hand pump and it didn't work either. Will try again tomorrow.

    If you have the frame pump that came with your bike, keep it, they are the simplest easiest pump to use except for when they don't, but I still try to use mine whenever possible. Just didn't havve it, but a new one husband gave me for an early anniversary gift. I returned it to the shop for credit against a new bike chain and rear tire.
