20 miles. I wanted to go longer but am not sure how much is okay while I am getting PT for knee pain that turned out to be due to problems in my hip etc. The group was heading into some hills, and I promised to only try flat, easy rides for now so I dropped off the back of the group and rode home.

Hot hot hot in Lexington South Carolina. The SO and I planned to do 60 but were happy to end up with 40. The heat was stifling and is going to take some used to again. In the 90s and quite humid.

Good ride and a lot of fun. We stopped at Lake Murray to hang our hammock and have a picnic lunch. We jumped in the lake to cool off...it was awesome.

One mishap...It was my first long ride in my new Power Grips and after a long stretch with no stops I forgot I was using them. Forgot to take my foot out when I stopped. Bam!

DH and I were in central PA to visit my family, and brought the bikes. We did 28 miles on the roads that I grew up riding (and a little beyond). I think if we'd had a little more time, we'd have ventured a little further, but you know how visiting family is...don't want to be rude and disappear for half the day. In some ways, the time constraint was good. I'm not super-motivated about road riding right now, being firmly entrenched in a trail phase (running and riding), and having an excuse to bail made it less stressful somehow. Que sera sera.

60 miles with LBS group ride. 4 of us put in some extra miles to take advantage of the great weather. Really nice to do some of the rollers and see more of the gorgeous farms here. By the end though my back was not very happy with me.
