Hopefully you'll find a position closer to "home". Based on what I see here, it's hard to believe that there are areas where nursing jobs are not a surplus!

It seems we are always chronically short in Utah. If you can live with the culture and bad winter air quality (in the Salt Lake, Cache, and Utah valleys at least), the University of Utah healthcare (which includes the hospital that rebuilt my back!) seems to have a lot of need, esp in peds. We also have a Shriner's hospital and regional children's hospital (Intermountain Healthcare).
