    Just a short one for me too. I was already kind of tired from shoveling compost and wrestling the tiller around the garden, so I just did three miles. Would've been three and a half, but there was a heavy catalog and some other stuff in the mailbox, so I just walked back from there.

    I've been trying to breathe through my nose more too, but even at long run pace the condition of my sinuses makes it difficult. I'm definitely going to clean up my diet before the marathon, so I should be breathing better by then. Did you know that your sinuses produce lots of nitric oxide, which when you inhale it, enhances oxygen uptake and acts as a vasodilator? I've also been looking for some of those nasal strips, but I guess they're out of fashion, because I can't find any, any more. I know they always did help my breathing.
