    What happened to Shebeest?

Yesterday when I got home, there was a package from STP awaiting. I didn't remember ordering anything from them, and since DH is away, I opened it. The box kind of looked like it might have been shoes.
Inside were 4 cycling tops in my size that DH thoughtfully ordered for me. But, I am so disappointed! Two sleeveless tops having huge gaping armholes and generally are loose and baggy, in addition to the somewhat girly designs. The piece I really wanted to fit was a LS full zip thermal jersey. The sleeves were about 5 inches too long, the inside was incredibly scratchy (seam, especially), and there was a big ink mark on it. I decided to keep the short sleeved jersey, as it's a cool design. But there is definitely something funky about the neck/shoulders, where it bunches a little. Not terribly noticeable, but still. And only 2 pockets.
I decided that although I hate elastic, I like my jerseys form fitting.

I think they're under new ownership. But I haven't really had problems with them lately. Fit is a bit inconsistent -- I wear a medium in the easy v tanks but recently bought a medium in a sleeveless jersey that is a different cut and it's a little loose. But it was on sale for $10 and for that price is definitely wearable. And I have similar fit confusion problems with clothes made by pretty much everyone, so I didn't think it was a shebeest problem specifically.

Come to think of it, the new Cascade jacket I just bought is too long in the sleeves. But I like it that way - better to be too long than too short.

how sweet of him (despite the wonky fit)!
Life goes by pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, and do whatever you want all the time, you could miss it.

Since they're coming from STP, could they be discontinued styles, or something else that they decided won't work for some reason? Don't they usually get some of that stuff, or am I wrong? I do hope they don't mess up their shorts - I LOVE by SSS shorts!!

Another reason to be delighted I've found some shorts I like way better than the SSS I'd been wearing... the Castelli Provocante. TE doesn't carry those (although they do have the Provocante knickers), but on the strength of the chamois, I just ordered two pairs of the Vizio Due shorts, and they also have the Irresistible shorts with the same chamois, a 7" inseam and priced about the same as the SSS.

I was thinking the same thing, that these might be "seconds." But, I have bought other things from STP (regular and athletic clothes, shoes) and haven't found this to be true. They might be discontinued styles, though. I have seen many people wearing the sleeveless jerseys, so they aren't "out of date ones."

I have two pairs of the S Pro shorts and I hope they don't change those, either.
