Hmmmm I wonder if I can persuade my husband Joe to go to Leavenworth that weekend. His knee replacement surgery is the following weekend. I can tell him he can drink beer (he LOVES beer) while I do the ride?! I'll run it by him tonight.![]()

I'm originally from SE Washington. Tri-Cities.
Moved to GA in 85. I still miss the light, dry air. Humidity here is soooo heavy. I also miss the wide open vista views. You can barely see across the street in GA. It is almost claustrophobic. It really gets to me when I read about all the pacific northwest rides on TE. They sound so inviting.
Congrats on the new bike.
None of us have done this ride before, but how bad can a ride be that has free beer at the end? It's a pretty area and I hope not too many big climbs. There are 5 or 6 of us going from my cycling group. We're driving over on Saturday, to enjoy some touristy stuff, camping at the local KOA, then do the ride and drive home on Sunday. We're planning on a fun weekend complete with Saturday night BBQ and dare I say a few adult beverages!
