I had a great commute. The first time I've gotten to ride this week. Thanks to my daughter sharing her cold with me.I even got to ride in the rain this morning, which is extra double bonus points in my book.

The Doppler Radar showed a huge green blob over RI (meaning rain), but I looked outside, and it wasn't raining. I especially like commuting on Sundays, so rain or not, I was riding.
There wasn't a drop of rain, and in fact, the morning ride was mostly sunny. No other cyclists out. I'm guessing the forecast kept them in. I was so prepared to get wet, I wore a wool base layer, a wool jersey, a rain jacket, a cap with a visor under my helmet, and full finger gloves. Well, I did get a little wet--from sweat!
Fun ride. I rode my steel bike, which hasn't seen much action since Spring sprung. Felt so good.
Glad the forecast didn't scare you out of a ride!
sprinkling & thundering on the way home, just beat the hail!
Look where I parked today.

Cold, cold, cold!
It was about -3 C this morning - what happened to spring?
But, fast pedalling + higher gear = fastest commute I ever done!
I have an insulated coffee mug that fits perfectly in my water bottle cage; let me tell you that coffee sure hit the spot along the way.
