First ride in of the year! What a difference from my last ride last year. A road I used to take is now part of the airport and there's a new road that snakes around. The road I took to get to the bridge into New Haven is blocked off for construction and I had to wind my way around the oil tankers (not the most comfortable place on a bike) to find a way around. Got to work and enjoyed the lessened traffic at the gas station due to the moved highway off-ramp. It was like riding a totally new route!

I started out cold, my fingertips freezing and my breath clearly visible. I finished warm with the sun finally up. What a fun time of year to ride!
