Actually, I'm one of those people who doesn't like wearing a hood with my rain jacket - so what this company chose to do would be perfect for me. I can attach a hood for off-the-bike wear, but remove it for on-the-bike-with-helmet wear. (Or more likely, I wouldn't buy the hood and wouldn't miss it!) If you're someone who likes a hood, then it sounds like this company's products aren't your ideal.
