Annie, I'm not actually sure how long it took my friend to do the quilting. She had it for a couple of weeks. What took me the longest was batiking the material. Sewing the squares was pretty easy, simple stripes! I figure I'm a batik artist before anything else, and then I can sew simple quilt squares. I DO have another larger quilt I've been hand quilting for the past 2-3 years, on and off. That's more my speed. But I kind was possessed, obsessed with this one!
