Ummm, just not the Boltinghouse Hill
Last year, Indysteel and I chose an "around Boltinghouse" that included a cruise "down Boltinghouse".

As long as it is "down"

I am looking forward to checking out these bar-end shifters. There are no shift indicators, will just have to learn it by feel. Thankfully I currently have a friend's trainer in my living room so I can "practice" a bit before taking it to my Eagle Creek Park "testing grounds". One thing is sure, I will HAVE to learn to get my hands to move around the bars to be able to shift

Will you post a link when there is one? May is super busy for us (husband graduating, moving to Kirksville MO, starting a new job), but my sister who lives in Bloomington might be interested in going to see the riders, if her semester is over by then.

Here's a preliminary website showing routes.

The office Ride 2 Recovery site should be up by the end of the week.

I would love to do this - pity that it isn't some other weekend. This weekend is just too booked for me already. I look forward to hearing about it though - and it is the FIRST annual, yes?

I'm the ride treasurer, so I hope it's the "first annual"...which means we'll be solvent.

The only downside is that Crane is subject to lock down in times of high terror alert...

The weather looks like it will be great!

How many opportunities do you have for up to 65 miles on a CLOSED COURSE!

Registration deadline in Monday May 17. FOR SECURITY REASONS, ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED IN ADVANCE - NO "DAY OF" REGISTRATION - There are strict security protocols required.

I would LOVE to do this next weekend - but I have to wait until I get the estimate from my LBS on the work needed on my beloved steel steed before I know if I can afford to register - and by then it will be too late.... sigh... I would love to do the 30 mile route!

    Hopefully next year!
