Is there anywhere to stop on the way back to take a break and hydrate and refuel? This would help a lot. Especially if there are a couple stops on the way back. It will take longer but the rest breaks will surely help.

You can do it.
You might not feel too hot the next day, and you might not want to get on that bike again for a few months. But don't let that stop you!
