Took my new Luna out for her maiden voyage this morning - 5 mile loop - then DH and I took a 14 mile ride. It's the first time we've both been out together all year. It was really nice but where did my hill-climbing legs go??? Aghhhhh!

my first ride of 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did 40 miles yesterday all by meself We got out early from work, it was a gorgeous 80 degree day in Chicago... but very winnnnnnnnnnnnnndy.... but I went out anyway.

Pushed crazy hard into the north wind for 20 miles... going 9mph, LOL!!... and getting nowhere, LOL. Almost turned around a dozen times.... but I had my mind set on a route... 20 miles out, 20 miles back... so I kept my commitment

Had the wind at my back the entire way back!!.... average 24mph on the way back and I was barely pedaling, LOL!!

    Awesome ride...

Today's it raining, but it's supposed to clear mid afternoon... if so, I'm out again!!

Had a great ride yesterday--67 km, which is about 20 km longer than my usual weekend ride. The route includes a good long climb, and I was very pleased with how strong I felt. Just generally feeling really good on the bike.
