Smile First outside ride of the season...

The weather here in PA was unbelievably beautiful all weekend. Put 50 miles on the cattrike and with more time and no dog to walk, it would have been many more miles. There is nothing like wind in your face and sunburned knees and forearms. Life is soooo good!!

I envy all of you guys riding around Stow, Acton, Sudbury - thems my old stomping grounds. a lot prettier and more interesting than the plains and flat roads of houston.

    ride safe and have fun.

Yup, every time I go someplace else to ride, I think, "I can't beat riding right outside my door..."
I know there's lots of beautiful places to ride, but I am so thankful to have this beautiful scenery in my own backyard.

I took a day off work to stay home and work on taxes but was able to sneak a 12 mile ride in after I finished. Even though it was windy (10 mph with 23 mph gusts) it felt wonderful. I've been training for a half-marathon and have had to give up riding time for running time so this was a real treat.
