I woke up at 5 a.m., took a look at the radar, rolled over and went back to sleep. By the time yoga class ended - about the same time the club ride would have been finishing up - we got a couple of sprinkles, then it stopped again. So I decided to take my commuter bike to the grocery store - hey, three miles is three miles. As soon as I paid for my groceries and walked out of the store, that's when the rain started.![]()

A 32mm headset wrench is not something that I carry with me! So I took it easy on the descents, tightened it by hand when I could, and made it home ok. Needless to say, that was the first thing I did when I got home, even before a shower!
but was able to sneak a 12 mile ride in after I finished. Even though it was windy (10 mph with 23 mph gusts) it felt wonderful. I've been training for a half-marathon and have had to give up riding time for running time so this was a real treat.
