Too ambitious too quickly with the warming weather I bought a side-loading bottle cage but I like to use my stainless bottle so it fell off within the first 10 minutes of my ride. Luckily, there weren't any cars around and I retrieved it safely. Then I had to switch my bottle cages on the fly to ensure my bottle would not come loose again :-o

About half way into the ride, the side loading cage (screwed in on the seat tube) came unscrewed (there was one short screw...not sure why it was the only short one) and impeded my ability to pedal. Upon stopping, it wedged itself between the teeth of my big crank :-o No damage done

The roads were ravaged by the winter. The potholes were gaping wider than I remember last season and there were many cracks and rough patches

I made it through my 15 miles but after about 10 my sit bones started screaming!

I arrived home tired and sore At least I made it
