I have:
2007/8 Kuota Kebel with Ultegra, and the R700 brifters. Not sure of the year because the original Kuota the shop sold me in 2006 was too big. In September 2008 they exchanged the frame for the Kebel and I added the short reach brifters.
2008 Jamis Coda Femme
2005 Norco full suspension mtb
I ride the Kuota the most, rides of anywhere between 15 and 60 miles usually. The Coda is my around town, errand bike, but I have done a 50 mile ride on it, on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Last year, I rode the Coda about 225 miles and the Kuota about 2,300.
I didn't do any mountain biking last year. I kinda suck at it, but want to keep the bike, for riding some the less technical trails around here. I'd like to ride it at least 5-10 times this year.
I gave up setting mileage goals 2 years ago, and I took myself off of Bike Journal. I rode 3,000 miles in 2006 and since then, I've had a myriad of weird medical things and sports injuries. I seem to get in around 24-2600 miles a year without trying too much. This year, my only goals are:
Finish my tour of Andalusia, Spain without any injuries and without having to take the SAG on the day of the big climb. Enjoy myself, too, instead of trying to rush from one place to the other.
Ride without pain and get my average back to where it was in 2006. Not sure if I can do this, but I will try.
Do more long rides. Last year, I rode a lot, but mostly shorter rides. Do more 50-60 mile rides.
Do the Seacoast century again in September.
