1998 Diamondback Response Mountain Bike (one night per week with the guys!)
2004 Diamondback Master (retired to the trainer for winter indoor spinning)
2008 Specialized Tri-cross Sport (touring)
2009 Felt FW3 Road ( my main, and favorite, bike)
Goals are few this year as my husband is riding the Southern Tier right now and one of us has to be in town all the time for his 90 yr. old dad. We have cooked for him for three years and now he needs alot of help. I have had my three long rides the past three years, and DH has just retired and is on his dream trip. Our dream is to ride the Northern Tier together when we are able to be gone together. I can't wait!! I ride as many days a week as it is not raining (not many these days!) and maybe do 75-100 miles per week, more in summer. I have two metrics planned so far, both in April, and lots of other rides. We might flip to see who goes to Bike VA as only one of us can go to it! Don't you think I deserve it after he gets back from the ST?!!!
Zen, I live 30 minutes from the Creeper Trail and we also have some really great road riding here in the area. Please let me know when you are going to be here. You are welcome to stay here, bring friends, or whatever. The road riding is awesome, though LOTS of hills. I have no rides without 1500-3000 feet of climbing in a day!!! Gorgeous, though! I would love to ride the Creeper again. It is a wonderful place to ride, but do it on a weekday!!! ...very crowded in summer on the weekends.
